Overview

Everest Collegiate High School & Academy is seeking qualified candidates for a part time academy music teaching position. Applicants should be highly capable of providing student instruction and managing the classroom environment. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Prefer current teaching license and/or degree in elementary education
Must meet all requirements established by the Archdiocese of Detroit for employment
Must have a record of fingerprints on file or be fingerprinted
Must have completed or be willing to complete Protecting God’s Children training
Ability to work in a collaborative atmosphere with teachers, parents, and students
Ability to maintain a safe and disciplined learning environment

Qualifications/Requirements:

Determination of qualifications will be made as fits the requirements of Everest Collegiate High School & Academy and this position.

All teachers in the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit shall be certified and /or approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan.

All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach.
