Saint Vincent de Paul High School is seeking a religion teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year to help fulfill its mission of guiding students to encounter Jesus Christ in His transforming truth and love. We are seeking a teacher committed to accompanying students as they enter more fully into God’s plan of sheer goodness manifested in the Church.

By exploring the intersection of faith, reason, and culture, this teacher can guide young hearts toward a deeper understanding of God’s revelation through the Church’s teaching, life and worship; a greater capacity to freely welcome and respond to Christ’s call to discipleship; and a fuller participation in that transformation toward communion as children of the Father made possible only by His grace. The teacher will also be responsible for helping organize extracurricular opportunities at the service of this, including retreats and other ministry events.

The teacher will develop and maintain collaborative, productive work relationships with colleagues, students, parents and any other individuals in a position to meet student needs and advance their growth, development, and achievement.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Given archdiocesan policies, Missouri teacher certification is helpful but not immediately required, such that its absence should not deter you from applying.

Please include a resume with your application.
