Graduate Counseling ACCESS Grant Program Coordinator

The Graduate Counseling ACCESS Grant Program Coordinator is assigned the role of ACCESS Grant Co-PI and provides administrative support for the completion of the administrative tasks of the Graduate Counseling ACCESS Grant to ensure all grant policies and federal policies are followed in the administration of the grant.

The Graduate Counseling ACCESS Grant Program Coordinator reports to the Dean, Associate Dean and Chairs of the Graduate Counseling and Education Programs in the Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences. This is a 12-month position.

All faculty are expected to demonstrate a willingness to support and advance the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission and identity of the University of Mary (see https://www.umary.edu/about/mission-identity).

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Grant disbursements to students, external agencies, and UMary Student Accounts
• Responsibility for recording all activities of the program to meet the GPRA and Program measures
• Attend all institutional budget meetings with the Coordinator of Grants and Compliance and with the ACCESS Co-PI to plan for spending for each funding year
• Works in collaboration with the ACCESS Co-PI and the ACCESS Grant External Evaluator, in order to track the progress of the grant in meeting program and GRPA measures and to provide key data specific to the GPRA measures in the APRs due annually
• Develop relationships with the program officer in DC and travel to Washington DC with the ACCESS Grant Co-PI for annual meetings

Qualifications and Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Master’s degree is preferred
• Strong writing and technology skills are required
• Experience in grant writing and administration is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
• Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
• Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities
• Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ
