Adjunct Faculty – Electrical and Mechanical Engineering

The University of St. Thomas (UST), a private Catholic University committed to the liberal arts and the religious and intellectual tradition of Catholic higher education, is located in Houston, Texas, near the vibrant central business district, Texas Medical Center, and museum district, is seeking applicants for an adjunct faculty position to teach electrical and mechanical engineering.

The Department of Physics and Engineering is looking for motivated adjunct faculty both for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Successful candidates will teach introductory and upper division courses as needed throughout the academic year, starting in the Spring 2023 semester.


· A Ph.D. or Master in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

· Teaching experience at the college level in their discipline.

· Ability to teach courses in various teaching formats ranging from “in person” to “online” as required.

· Ability to effectively communicate with faculty and students.

· Knowledge of using computers and computer programs in teaching labs, including interfaces to sensors and other equipment for data collection.
