Schedule:  Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; occasional evenings or weekends, as required.

The Project Manager for the Franciscan Leadership Institute will provide support in all facets of establishing and implementing the Leadership Institute, including scheduling and handling logistics for outside speakers, executive forums, retreats and entrepreneur visits both on and off campus.  Candidates should have a high energy level, a strong attention to detail, be self-starters who are flexible and adaptable to change, and possess a passion for FUS. Other duties include project management, posting and editing content on social media, conducting research, providing budget and administrative support.




1.     Provides project management and administrative support for all facets of the leadership institute, including outside speakers, executive forums, retreats and entrepreneur visits on and off campus. Candidates should be willing to work outside normal business hours to ensure all travel and logistics are handled professionally and flawlessly.

2.     Assists with project management and the development of the leadership institute and the entrepreneurship program, including overseeing the filming and editing of speakers.

3.     Assists with the Leadership Institute budget.  Processes requisitions and payments, maintains records and purchase receipts, reconciles and verifies records for accuracy, produces financial reports and summaries, submits monthly purchase card reports.

4.     Responsible for real time posting and editing of announcements and news on social media to drive awareness and advance the leadership institute and the entrepreneurship program.

5.     Prepares correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other forms of communication, as needed.

6.     Procures supplies and coordinates/schedules travel arrangements, maintains travel itineraries, and prepares associated approval forms, reimbursement forms, and expense reports.

Work Experience


·         2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a professional office environment is preferred.

·         Demonstrated capacity to work with senior leaders.

·         Experience with social media posting and editing on major platforms; ability to work with marketing and communications to drive real time editing and publication of videos of speakers.

·         Demonstrated capacity to handle travel and meeting logistics both domestically and internationally.

·         Bachelor’s degree.

·         Knowledge of Franciscan spirituality preferred.

·         Six sigma certification (or equivalent) preferred.


Technical Skills


·         Knowledge of MS Office applications.

·         Knowledge of social media and video editing tools.


Workplace Factors


·         This is a full-time position that will require some work on weekends and during the evenings to meet the needs of outside speakers, seminars and other leadership forums.
