Saint Vincent de Paul High School is seeking a physics/chemistry teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year to help fulfill its mission of guiding students to encounter Jesus Christ in His transforming truth and love. We are seeking a teacher committed to opening doorways to wonder via a closer examination of the natural world, someone who observes the complementary dimensions of faith and reason.

By exploring the intricacies and order of nature, this teacher can guide young hearts to insights from a Catholic worldview on man’s place within creation and role as steward, helping to see the goodness and beauty of the Creator through that of his handiwork. Through experimentation and observation, they will uncover for students the simultaneous simplicity and complexity of physical reality.

The teacher will develop and maintain collaborative, productive work relationships with colleagues, students, parents and any other individuals in a position to meet student needs and advance their growth, development, and achievement.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Given archdiocesan policies, Missouri teacher certification is helpful but not immediately required, such that its absence should not deter you from applying.

Please include a resume with your application.
