SUMMARY
UD is currently seeking a Coordinator to be responsible for coordinating administrative, fiscal, logistical and planning activities for the College of Business (COB) while providing support services for all patrons of SB Hall. The coordinator will supervise the SB Hall Business Resource Center and Graduate Assistants.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Plan and coordinate logistics for all SB Hall classrooms at the start of each semester, including scheduling course meetings and events, in consultation with the Registrar’s office, Conference and Event Services, catering services through Aramark and other contract specialists; monitoring COB calendar and assigning Graduate Assistants where additional support is needed.
● Provide on-going logistical support for COB Dean’s office, Center for Professional Development, Campus Ministry, Admissions and Academic Services.
● Coordinate room reservations, textbook procurement and event planning for Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program in close conjunction with the Director of the Program, DBA faculty and the Registrar’s office.
● Hire, train and supervise Graduate Assistants, primarily assisting the Business Resource Center and other facilities within SB Hall, including classroom technology and faculty/visitor support. Maintaining student worker budget where needed.
● Provide support to the Administrative Assistant to the Dean in the execution of events sponsored by the Dean’s office (and Graduate Assistants reporting to the Coordinator).
● Update Graduate Assistant Handbook maintained at the Business Resource Center on a regular basis and make any new information available to all COB Graduate
Assistants; Oversee all aspects to implementing all new revisions and defined steps and objectives.
● Coordinate Audio Visual support with the AV Support Department for any Special Events in SB Hall and any regular updates to all SB Hall technology, and provide individual training to COB Graduate Assistants on any such updates to classroom equipment.
● Maintain supplies in all SB Hall classrooms; working with the Business office, Administrative Assistant to the COB Dean and UD Purchasing Manager to order classroom supplies as needed.
● Maintain SB Hall building security, in collaboration with UDPD, to ensure safety and security classrooms and external doors post class meetings, during University holidays, summer breaks and weekend special events.
● Monitor SB Hall facilities and areas on a regular basis; initiating facilities work orders for any issues with SB Hall.
● Coordinate communications via phone to Business Resource Center desk, visitor messages or arrivals for meetings and mail delivered by Printing and Postal for faculty and departments in SB Hall.
● Monitor COB events calendar related to any special events which would requires assistance from Graduate Assistant’s
● Manage and establish content for all SB Hall bulletin boards during the school year in close conjunction with the COB Dean’s office.
● Other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Satish & Yasmin Gupta College Business.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include supervision of three to four COB Graduate Assistants in the Business Resource Center who assist in the day-to-day functionality and logistical operations of SB Hall. Includes participating in setting goals with all Graduate Assistants which includes personal interviews in the hiring process of new Graduate Assistants.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Two years of experience in planning, logistics and event support.
