Assistant Professor of Biology
The University of Mary invites applications for a full-time position in Biology to begin Fall 2022. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. A doctorate degree in Biology, or a closely related field, is required by time of employment.
Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the biology program, as well as academic mentoring of our biology majors. While candidates with expertise in any area of biology are strongly encouraged to apply, applicants with an interest in biology education and/or human anatomy and physiology will receive added attention. Applicants should understand, support, and advance the liberal arts, excel in teaching at the undergraduate level, and be willing to join other program faculty in developing an active research agenda appropriate for participation by undergraduate science majors (https://www.umary.edu/academics/outside-the-classroom/surve).
