Assistant/Associate Professor of Biochemistry/Chemistry

The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Professor of Biochemistry/Chemistry at the Assistant or Associate rank (commensurate with experience and qualifications). A starting date of January 2024 is possible, but a starting date as late as September 2024 is acceptable. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in biochemistry (majors) and introductory chemistry. Faculty are encouraged to develop and teach intermediate and advanced courses in their area(s) of interest/expertise. A PhD in Biochemistry or Chemistry and demonstrated experience teaching at the college level are required. This is a new and growing major, and faculty are expected to engage in student-centered undergraduate research and are encouraged to participate in our funded, well-developed, and active summer undergraduate research experience (http://www.umary.edu/SURVE).
