Visiting Assistant Professor
Chemistry and Biochemistry
The University of St. Thomas (UST), a private Catholic University committed to the liberal arts and the religious and intellectual tradition of Catholic higher education, located in Houston, Texas, near the vibrant central business district, Texas Medical Center, and museum district, invites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time, one-year faculty position in chemistry. The start date for the position is August 2024 with the possibility for yearly renewal based on department needs.
Responsibilities:
Teaching undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in Organic Chemistry and possibly General Chemistry.
Service activities as needed by the department and the university.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. in chemistry or related field.
Excellence in teaching.
Commitment to the university’s mission.
